Lower Dolpo Trek 28 Days

Dlopa situated in Nepal’s far west, was only recently opened to trekkers.Trekking in the Dolpo provides unrivaled adventure and the magnificent Phoksundo Lake is an added bonus. The area beyond Phoksundo Lake is known as inner Dolpo. Phoksundo Lake is the jewel of Dolpo. The people here trace their origins to Tibet, and their culture is a window on the traditions as practiced on the roof of the world centuries ago. The elusive snow leopard is a famous denizen of Dolpo and the rare cat has acquired the status of a near legend. Thus it’s not only the scenery that attracts trekkers to Dolpo; it’s the chance to see a corner of Nepal that very few visitors will ever experience.
