Lower Mustang Motorcycle Tour - 11 Days

Upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport you will be met by our representative and drive to the hotel and free. You can explore the Thamel area in the evening on your own. There will be a dinner in the evening with a trip briefing.

We will visit UNESCO World Heritage sites today for sightseeing. After our breakfast we will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath Stupa. The transfer for sightseeing will be in a vehicle. After the sightseeing we will be back to our hotel. Our road captain will brief on the upcoming bike trip. You can now check your bike and test ride it.

Today morning, we will start our ride to Pokhara. The roads of Kathmandu are hectic and crowded until we exit Kathmandu and start our fun ride on the Prithivi Highway. We can witness many green hills, mountain views and Trishuli River on the way. The ride will take approx 6 hours riding through numerous meandering roads. Enjoy the natural scenery along the way as you reach Pokhara. There will be some stop breaks on the way to refresh yourself. Once we reach Pokhara, we can see the mighty Annapurna and Fishtail mountains dominating the skyline. Arrive in the beautiful mountain and lake valley and ride to your hotel. In the evening, explore the beautiful lake side area.

Today we will start our real adventure ride as we hit the narrow mountainous highway from Pokhara towards a small town of Beni, tucked between the Kali Gandaki and Myagdi Rivers. From Beni, the ride goes along the rugged terrain of the mountainous region. Up ahead we will arrive in Tatopani which is a famous spot to take a break or a night’s stay for people travelling to and from Mustang. After a short break, our ride will resume along the rugged trail and cross passes Lete to reach Kalopani where we will stay for the night.

Today's ride will also be a tough ride through the rough mountain terrain but it will provide some rewards of exploring the beautiful Marpha village which is also known as the apple village of the Mustang region. There are small narrow lanes in Marpha which are all painted white and some small monasteries. Explore Marpha and ride on to reach Jomsom, the capital of Mustang which lies a little further away from Marpha. Explore the tiny town of Jomsom and set for your ride to Kagbeni, a beautiful Tibetean village with hamlets and fields. Kagbeni is the gateway to the  hidden Kingdom of Upper Mustang. The ride will mesmerize you with amazing landscape, unique culture and mountain views which are the highlights of the trip.

Today we will ride downhill towards Tatopani where we had stopped for a break on the way to Kagbeni. On the way back to Tatopani we will stop to view the amazing Rupche fall which lies right on our way back to Tatopani. It is a beautiful waterfall which is famous in the region and many passersby stop there to take a picture and enjoy the scenery. We continue our ride to Tatopani and check in to our Lodge. Tatopani means hot water or spring, and there is a natural hot spring around the area where tired trekkers and locals go to dip and get rid of body aches and relax.

We start our ride in the morning after breakfast and ride along the desert type mountain road to reach Muktinath. Muktinath is famous for Muktinath temple which is important to both Hindus and Buddhist pilgrims. From Muktinath, you will be mesmerized with amazing views of the snow white Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri mountains. You can visit the Muktinath temple by walking some steps up to the temple and enjoy the scenery from there too. Explore the area and free time to relax with the amazing views.

Today we will ride through the same rugged terrain till Beni and then have a relaxed ride to Pokhara which will be altogether around 5 hours. Once we reach Pokhara, we will ride to our hotel and check in. You can have a good rest for a while and then you have free time to explore the lakeside area.

Today we will explore Pokhara by visiting some sites such as Davis Fall, Gupteshwor cave, Seti Gorge, Old town of Pokhara and Bindabasini temple. After the sightseeing, free time to explore the beautiful lake side area.

Today we will ride back to Kathmandu having a smooth ride on Prithivi Highway.  You will witness many hills, rivers and small towns along the way. On reaching Kathmandu, we will drive to our hotel and check in. This marks the end of the motor biking trip. You are free for the rest of the day for last minute shopping. 

In the evening we will proceed for a farewell dinner hosted by our company to celebrate the successful completion of your trip.
