Your classic Everest Base Camp trek starts from Lukla. To reach Lukla, you will need to take a 45-minute flight from Kathmandu. Hence, a scenic flight back and forth between them. Kathmandu and Lukla will be the starting and ending points of your trek. The cost of a one-way flight from Kathmandu to Lukla will be around $250 per person. Hence, the airfare for a two-way flight will cost you around $500 per person.

Moreover, during the peak season, your flight can be diverted to Manthali airport. So, you will have to take a road drive from Kathmandu to Manthali and take a flight from Manthali to Lukla.
